Helen Kingston is a British screenwriter, writing for film and television in London and Los Angeles. With projects in development with Netflix US and AMC.

Kingston most recently wrote on two episodes of the Amazon Prime series The Girlfriend starring Robin Wright, Waleed Zuaiter and Olivia Cooke. Other credits include an episode of Joe Barton's The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself.

Current projects in development include an Emilia Clarke led project with AMC. Helen is also writing a feature film with Ink Factory and co-writing a William McGregor thriller for the BFI and Endor productions.

Kingston's original feature The Flood, starring Lena Heady, Iain Glen and Ivanno Jeremiah was released in UK cinemas by Curzon in 2019. The screenplay was BIFA long-listed for Best Debut Screenplay and in the top 50 Academy Nicholl Fellowship Awards.

Kingston's background is in literature, with a 1st class degree in English and Related Literature from York University and an MFA in Screenwriting. @kingstonwrites has 40k followers across social media platforms.
